Our Materials

Moissanites

Moissanite is a diamond alternative that is more sparkly than diamond, because it has a higher refractive index (2.65) than diamond (2.42), resulting in greater brilliance and "fire" (rainbow sparkle) when compared to diamond.

Not to be confused with the dreaded zircon or cubic zirconia, moissanite is a more premium gemstone that is both harder and shinier than zircon.

Scoring 9.25/10 on the Mohs scale of hardness, moissanite is the second-hardest gemstone after diamond.

Gold Vermeil

18k gold vermeil is a high-quality method of gold plating, whereby sterling silver is coated with a thick layer (at least 2.5 microns) of 18k solid gold.

Please be aware that, due to the nature of gold vermeil being one layer of 18k gold plated on top of sterling silver, the gold layer could potentially be worn off or tarnish in around 3 years, depending on how well the jewellery has been taken care of. However, when that happens, we are able to offer a replating service to restore your jewellery to its perfect condition. If you need this service, get in touch with us here.

Coloured Gemstones

Read our Gemstone Guide to explore the different kinds of colourful gemstones we use and how to take care of them.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver. The remaining 7.5% in the alloy makes our jewellery durable and perfect for everyday wear.

Our sterling silver is plated with rhodium, to make it shiner, more durable, and resistant to tarnishing.

Solid Yellow Gold and White Gold

Our fine jewellery collection is crafted with 18k yellow gold or 14k white gold.
