- Wear your sterling silver often! The more often you wear your silver jewellery, the nicer and brighter it will look. Leaving your jewelry sitting in a box or drawer will only allow the colour to dull out quicker.
- Keep it clean and store in a safe, dry place—such as an anti-tarnish pouch or an airtight ziplock bag to avoid oxidisation. We suggest that you do not store your pieces in our gift boxes long term.
- Avoid harsh chemicals such as perfume and cosmetic products.
How do I clean my sterling silver jewellery?
To restore your silver jewellery to its original shine, you can either use a store bought jewellery cleaner, or mix baking soda and water to create a paste. Apply the paste to a soft cloth or brush and gently rub it onto the tarnished areas of your sterling silver jewellery. Rinse the jewellery thoroughly under cool running water to remove the paste. Pat the jewellery dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
